Last month, Ford announced that it was lowering the price of its BlueCruise hands-free highway driving assist feature for U.S. customers, and it also added a one-time payment option for those that prefer to pay a lump sum rather than more frequent debits. Now, as BlueCruise continues to evolve and gain more users (not to mention winding up in more and more models), Ford has announced that it’s also reducing the price for customers in Canada, too.
BlueCruise customers in Canada can also take advantage of a one-year plan or a one-time purchase option, with the former choice being included as either standard equipment or an option depending on the vehicle and trim level. Beginning with 2025 model year Ford vehicles, customers can choose to upgrade to the one-time purchase when they order that vehicle and won’t need to activate BlueCruise again if they go that route.
Additionally, Ford will continue to offer a 90-day free BlueCruise trial to customers that don’t select the one-year plan at the time of vehicle order, unless it’s included as standard on that model, or if they purchase the one-year option. When that trial is up, customers can choose to pay either monthly or annually if they want to continue to use the feature – making it convenient for those that only plan to take road trips at certain times of the year, such as during the holidays.
Currently, Canadians can get BlueCruise in the Ford Expedition, Ford F-150, F-150 Lightning, and Ford Mustang Mach-E. For 2025 model year vehicles, the one-year plan will cost $650 CAD ($466.76 USD) if it isn’t included as standard, while the one-time purchase will cost $3,295 CAD ($2,366.11 USD) for the Mach-E and Expedition. Those that choose to go the monthly route can expect to pay $64.99 CAD ($46.67 USD). Existing customers will see these lower prices reflected on their next payment, and Ford plans to release additional details for other models soon.

I live in Canada and recently purchased a 2025 Ford Explorer ST with Blue Cruise I see you have reduced the pricing in Canada, is there any further reduction for Ford retires and if purchased in Canada will I be able to use it in the USA.
