As is typically the case, Ford launched a bevy of new parts and accessories for a variety of models at this year’s SEMA Show, with the most notable falling under what’s known as Ford Custom Garage. This new line is designed to offer owners an easy way to customize their ride in a variety of ways via limited-edition packages that will evolve over time. The first two Ford Custom Garage packages are reserved for the Ford Bronco – Matte Black and Sinister Bronze, and are designed by Ford’s Vehicle Personalization and Performance Parts teams to provide a perfect fit, are covered by the automaker’s new vehicle warranty, and can be serviced by any Ford dealer in the U.S. or an ASE-certified shop. Now, we have another to add to that list.
The latest Ford Custom Garage offering is called the Ford Bronco Dark Trail Gray package, and it adds a host of unique features to the sixth-generation off-road-focused SUV. On the outside, those include a matte black Bronco badge, a smoked Ford Oval, an upgraded spare tire carrier, geometric hood and rocker graphics, retro fender flares, and matte gray Method 17×8.5-inch wheels fitted with black lug nuts and wrapped with 315/70-17 Goodyear all-terrain tires. To help make room for those meatier tires, Ford Performance Parts supplied a two-inch lift kit, while a ProCal tire size calibration tool helps ensure the speedometer is correct.
The Ford Bronco Dark Trail Gray package is quite similar to the recently-revealed Dark Trail Black package, which contains basically the same exact upgrades, but as one might expect, it features a black theme instead of gray. Those that prefer that type of theme can also opt for the brand new Black Appearance Package that’s debuting on the 2025 Bronco, which has received a bevy of updates for the new model year.
These aren’t the only new exterior looks Bronco owners can opt for, either. In fact, the 2025 model has also gained a new matte clear film option, which can be applied to any factory hue and provides some extra protection for the paint from things like road salt, bugs, and asphalt residue, not to mention potential hazards when traveling off the beaten path.
