The Ford Authority Take

Ford Chile sales strong growth in October not only represents its second consecutive monthly increase, but also represents the highest volume the brand has recorded so far this year in the South American country. In this sense, Ford’s 1,572 deliveries during the past month surpassed the previous record of 1,478 units sold in August.

Notably, the main driver of Ford Chile’s rise in October was the best-selling Ford Ranger. The midsize pickup truck continues its excellent commercial performance and increased popularity in the Chilean market, where it strengthens its competitiveness in the segment and is among the best-selling vehicles in the country.

In addition to the 222 units the Ranger added year-over-year, the Ford Territory and Transit also posted notable double-digit increases in the month, which together added nearly 180 units to the bottom line. The heavy-duty van line had the highest growth rate, but maintained the lowest volume for the brand.
