Though retail consumers haven’t gravitated toward all-electric vehicles at expected levels in recent months, commercial fleets are far more interested, it seems, which isn’t surprising given their lower operating costs compared to ICE equivalents. Ford continues to sell its fair share of EVs to companies looking to slash emissions and costs, but the automaker is also aiming to keep that trend going by introducing various incentives for interested fleets to take advantage of. The latest round of those incentives have now arrived for a variety of Ford EV models, too.
According to a dealer bulletin recently seen by CarsDirect, select Ford EV models have received enhancements in terms of fleet-focused incentives, starting with the 2024 Ford Mustang Mach-E. The EV crossover can now be purchased by commercial customers with the same zero percent APR for 72 months financing deal that retail consumers can already take advantage of – an improvement upon the previous rate of 1.9 percent for 72 months.
The 2024 Ford E-Transit can also be financed by fleets over 72 months with a 4.9 percent APR – one percent lower than before – though customers can also opt for 36 months at 0.9 percent, 1.9 percent for 48 months, or 2.9 percent for 60 months. Finally, the Ford F-150 Lightning can also be financed with a 1.9 percent APR for up to 72 months, or zero percent across 60 months. All of these Ford EV offers are available across the U.S. through January 2nd, 2205.
In addition to these new, more attractive financing offers, Ford recently decided to extend its EV referral program, which offers customers a $500 discount on 2024 Mustang Mach-E and F-150 Lightning models. Both retail and commercial customers can also receive free chargers for their new rides, too. On the retail side of the coin, the new Ford Power Promise program offers retail customers that purchase or lease a Mustang Mach-E, F-150 Lightning, or E-Transit a free home charger when they take delivery of those vehicles, after which they can also receive a free standard installation of that charger. Ford Pro renewed its existing offer that provides state and local government customers with a free EV charger when they purchase an E-Transit, Mustang Mach-E, or F-150 Lightning, too.
