Ford F-150 ORV Concept Is A Nice Tremor Alternative: SEMA 2024

With the 2024 SEMA Show kicking off next week, we’re seeing a large number of custom builds and new parts and accessories begin to surface, even before the doors to the annual aftermarket extravaganza open. As is usually the case, that includes a bevy of new offerings from The Blue Oval, including a handful of new packages from what’s known as the Ford Custom Garage. The latest is this – the Ford F-150 ORV concept, which looks like a suitable way to present customers with a bit of an alternative to the existing Tremor.

The new Ford F-150 ORV concept is one of a handful of projects that will be on display at SEMA 2024 at the Ford Performance Parts and Accessories booth that were created by the folks at Ford Vehicle Personalization. It’s based on a 2024 Ford F-150 XLT with the FX4 Off-Road Package and the 5.0L Coyote V8, which provided a blank canvas for this particular project.

The Ford F-150 ORV concept has been treated to a host of upgrades that consist of a Bilstein two-inch suspension lift, underbody armor, unique wheels, Rigid off-road auxiliary lighting, ORV exterior trim and graphics, and auxiliary upfit switches inside the cabin to control certain accessories.

Thus far, we’ve seen a handful of cool new concepts from Ford at SEMA 2024, including the F-150 FP700S concept package, which previews some potential updates compared to the existing, supercharged, street-focused FP700 package for that same pickup. Additionally, Ford Custom Garage will offer a bevy of special packages for select Blue Oval models such as the Ford Bronco, which will evolve over time. The first two Ford Custom Garage packages set to go up for sale are the Matte Black and Sinister Bronze selections for the rugged SUV, in fact.

Brett's lost track of all the Fords he's owned over the years and how much he's spent modifying them, but his current money pits include an S550 Mustang and 13th gen F-150.
