The Ford F-150 SVT Lightning may be long gone, but the performance pickup certainly isn’t forgotten, as it has only gotten increasingly more popular in recent years. These days, the SVT Lightning isn’t just a favorite among those looking for fast truck, but rather, collectors as well, as we’ve seen a number of nice, low-mile examples sell for somewhat large sums of money as of late. Regardless, it’s also nice to see lots of Ford F-150 SVT Lightning owners out there enjoying their trucks and driving them as intended, though such antics also may have gotten one in trouble with the law recently.
As we can see in this reel posted to Facebook, the second-generation Ford F-150 SVT Lightning owner decided to stop in the middle of the road while cruising around and rip off a nice burnout for everyone watching, including the person filming the whole thing. Funny enough, that crowd included a police officer that was standing nearby, though they didn’t exactly run to their car and chase the hi-po pickup down. This could be because of some special event taking place on a closed course or prearranged cruise, though that’s unclear based on what we can see in the short video.
What is clear is that the owner of this second-generation Ford F-150 SVT Lightning likes to drive it in a spirited manner, whether that be on public roads or not. Though it’s unclear if these antics occurred on a closed section of road, it is nice to see that happen, given how many barely-driven models we’ve seen up for auction as of late that may have never smoked a tire. In fact, with values rising, we may be nearing the end of the proverbial line in that regard.
Making matters worse, there really isn’t a factory-built alternative to the street performance-focused SVT Lightning these days, though the existing FP700 package (and forthcoming FP700S) are certainly the next-best thing as supercharged, lowered pickups focused largely on going fast in a straight line.

My best guess: ” If your FRONT tires DON’T move/rotate “. By the frozen imaged video shot: Road was closed for a specific Group/Club that got a permit to have the event!
