Ford Middle East Gets New Marketing Director

Following a rather large model lineup revamp over the past few years, Ford Middle East has enjoyed a tremendous sales surge. In fact, as Ford Authority recently reported, its Middle Eastern division is experiencing record sales growth in 2024 on the backs of a fresh lineup and strong performances in key markets. Currently, Ford is the fastest-growing automotive brand in Saudi Arabia, in fact, and has doubled its overall sales in that region since 2022. Now, Ford Middle East is adding some new talent to its executive team, too.

Ford Middle East has appointed Andrew Gregory as its new Marketing Director, who will take the place of Pedro Simoes starting next month as Simoes has been named as Managing Director of Ford Philippines. In his new role, Gregory will oversee the strategic direction of both the Ford and Lincoln brands across the Middle East. Before taking this position, Gregory served as Ford’s Brand Marketing Lead in that same region, and has around a decade of experience in that role, as well as titles including Brand Marketing Manager, Product Marketing Manager, Sales Manager, and Fleet Sales Manager of Ford Middle East.

“I am thrilled to welcome Andrew Gregory as our new Marketing Director. His proven track record and innovative approach align perfectly with our goals and is set to elevate our Brand Marketing Communications strategies going forward,” said Ravi Ravichandran, President, Ford Middle East.

Along with the recent announcement that the 2025 Ford Mustang Mach-E will soon be sold in the Middle East as its very first EV in that market, FoMoCo has also added a bevy of products there over the past few months – a list that includes the recently-updated Ford Taurus, the refreshed Ford F-150with its available PowerBoost powertrain, as well as the refreshed 2025 Ford Explorer. Early this year, Ford also broke ground on a new distribution center in the Dubai Logistics District that will be used as a consolidated storage and distribution site that the automaker says will ensure better availability of parts, optimize inventory management, and enhance customer service.

Brett's lost track of all the Fords he's owned over the years and how much he's spent modifying them, but his current money pits include an S550 Mustang and 13th gen F-150.
