The all-new 2025 Ford Mustang GTD debuted over one year ago, and we already know that its supercharged 5.2L V8 churns out 815 horsepower and 664 pound-feet of torque, which enables it to reach a top speed of 202 miles-per-hour – the fastest of any production pony car in history. Ford is also aiming to lap Germany’s legendary Nurburgring in under seven minutes, a mark that few vehicles in history have achieved, making this a truly historic machine by anyone’s standards. Thus, it comes as no surprise that a line of Ford Mustang GTD merchandise is now available to purchase from The Blue Oval itself.
According to the automaker, this Ford Mustang GTD merchandise – which can be found here – is available in limited quantities and only while supplies last, so it apparently won’t be sticking around forever. There are a grand total of five items currently available to purchase – a Ford Mustang GTD logo t-shirt, a full-zip jacket, a flat-bill hat, stainless steel water bottle, and a graphic logo t-shirt.
Given the fact that the Ford Mustang GTD itself costs north of $300,000, it also shouldn’t come as a surprise to see that this corresponding merchandise line isn’t cheap, either. In fact, the water bottle retails for $35, the t-shirts are $49.99 each, the hat costs $65, and the jacket retails for a whopping $199.99. Regardless, we imagine that those who can afford the car itself likely won’t be bothered by those price tags.
While we’re still waiting to learn if Ford achieved its goal at the Nurburgring, the automaker has stated that a sub-seven minute lap time there is the “gold standard” for sports car development these days, all of which certainly seems to indicate that The Blue Oval is either quite confident in the fact that the Mustang GTD can get there, or perhaps already has – which seems even more likely given the fact that it has gone to the trouble of making an entire film documenting this process. On top of that, CEO Jim Farley recently stated that the Mustang is more than capable of “disrupting” higher-end sports cars like the Porsche 911, which itself has posted some impressive lap times over the years.
