As most Blue Oval fans are already painfully aware, as iconic as the Ford Mustang is, the pony car also has a bit of a reputation for being, well, a vehicle that crashes a lot. In all fairness, most of these crashes occur because of driver inexperience, error, or just a basic lack of driving skills, particularly when it comes to V8-powered examples of the Mustang. Whether it’s on the street or at the drag strip, we continue to see pony cars meeting their untimely demise at the hands of those types of folks, but this recent incident is a bit, well, different.
Perhaps fittingly taking place in some sort of parking lot near a gas station/liquor store combo, this Ford Mustang is apparently stuck on a curb, though it’s unclear how that happened in the first place. Regardless, the poor pony car is high centered on that curb much like an off-roader on a giant rock, but “luckily” for the owner, there are some good Samaritans nearby willing to provide “help.”
Rather than wait for a tow truck or even somebody with a truck and a strap, this crew of folks decides to teeter totter the poor Ford Mustang until it’s free, bouncing it up and down as the driver gives it some gas. This comical attempt actually succeeds – somewhat, at least – as the Mustang is eventually free and moving forward. Problem is, there’s a bit of a drop there, and the pony car bounces its rear end and bumper cover off the pavement, which can’t be a good thing.

Unfortunately, the video cuts out before we can see what kind of damage occurred, but at least the rear bumper is intact. We’re not so sure about the exhaust or other components underneath, but we have to imagine that there’s some sort of damage underneath – not terribly surprising given the rather painful process it took to get this Mustang rolling again.
