As is the case in most global markets where it operates, Ford’s lineup in the Middle East has changed quite a bit in recent years, and those updates are seemingly paying off in terms of sales increases. FoMoCo has added a bevy of new products to its Middle Eastern lineup as of late, including some that aren’t sold in the automaker’s home country, the U.S. As it turns out, those moves are resulting in some tremendous success in terms of sales, as Ford Middle East is apparently breaking its own personal records in that regard as of late.
Ford recently revealed that it’s experiencing record sales growth in 2024 on the backs of a fresh lineup and strong performances in key markets. Currently, Ford is the fastest-growing automotive brand in Saudi Arabia, in fact, and Al Jazirah Vehicles Agencies and Mohammed Yousef Naghi Motors accounted for 57 percent of the automaker’s total business in the Middle East in the first half of the year.
“2024 has been an exceptional year for Ford in the Middle East, with sales having doubled since 2022,” said Ravi Ravichandran, president of Ford Middle East. “This success is due to strong market share gains by our distributors in key countries such as the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar and Saudi Arabia. The strong performance by all our distributors has contributed to Ford achieving record sales in this important region.”
Along with the recent announcement that the 2025 Ford Mustang Mach-E will soon be sold in the Middle East as its very first EV in that market, FoMoCo has also added a bevy of products there over the past few months – a list that includes the recently-updated Ford Taurus, the refreshed Ford F-150 with its available PowerBoost powertrain, as well as the refreshed 2025 Ford Explorer. Early this year, Ford also broke ground on a new distribution center in the Dubai Logistics District that will be used as a consolidated storage and distribution site that the automaker says will ensure better availability of parts, optimize inventory management, and enhance customer service.

I know the overall numbers are small for the Middle East, but it’s nice to see Ford expanding in an international market.
