FordPass App Announced For The Middle East

Ford Middle East has experienced massive growth over the past couple of years, which has mostly been fueled by the addition of several new models in that particular region. Those changes have had a profound impact, as Ford’s Middle Eastern sales have doubled since 2022, and are on pace to set a new record. Currently, Ford is the fastest-growing automotive brand in Saudi Arabia as well, and with even more new products set to join its lineup, that momentum doesn’t look likely to taper off anytime soon. Now, that part of the world is gaining the FordPass app as its latest Blue Oval expansion, too.

The FordPass app will initially launch in the United Arab Emirates (UAB) next year, followed by Saudi Arabia, the automaker has announced. This means that The Blue Oval’s customers in that region will have access to loads of features on their smartphones, including pickup and delivery in select markets, along with the ability to book service appointments, plus the typical lock/unlock features, vehicle information, and remote start functionality.

“FordPass will connect you to your Ford like never before – in a way that puts the ownership experience right in the palm of your hand,” said Kay Hart, president of Ford’s International Markets Group. “Imagine you’re rushing to a meeting or appointment on a scorching summer day. With FordPass, you can remotely start your car and pre-cool the cabin before you even step outside.”

Along with the recent announcement that the 2025 Ford Mustang Mach-E will soon be sold in the Middle East as its very first EV in that market, FoMoCo has also added a bevy of products there over the past few months – a list that includes the recently-updated Ford Taurus, the refreshed Ford F-150, as well as the refreshed 2025 Ford Explorer. Early this year, Ford also broke ground on a new distribution center in the Dubai Logistics District that will be used as a consolidated storage and distribution site that the automaker says will ensure better availability of parts, optimize inventory management, and enhance customer service.

Brett's lost track of all the Fords he's owned over the years and how much he's spent modifying them, but his current money pits include an S550 Mustang and 13th gen F-150.
