No. 98 NASCAR Ford Truck Scores Title For Blue Oval: Video

Ty Majeski, driver of the No. 98 NASCAR Ford F-150, absolutely dominated the season-ending race at Phoenix Raceway on November 9^th, 2024, scoring not only the race win but putting his name down in the history books as the 2024 champion.

Majeski showed the way for 132 of 150 laps at Phoenix, classing the competition. He outran fellow championship hopeful, Corey Heim, driver of the No. 11 Toyota TRD Tundra by a whopping 3.945 seconds when the checkered flag fell.

“It means a ton,” Majeski said after the race. “Looking at the sport as a whole from the outside you don’t realize how hard it is to get these opportunities and how hard it is to not only win races or find a good opportunity, but become a champion. This is surreal. I’ve put my whole life into this.”

He added, “I’ve put a lot of hard hours driving through the night to make it to races and then get back to work at [NASCAR Ford team] ThorSport the next morning and all of that work paid off tonight.”

Majeski’s victory marked the fifth in the Truck Series division for Ford. It was the sixth race win on Majeski’s record, and his first title in any NASCAR-sanctioned division. Ford now has five championship wins in the last six seasons, and capped off a stellar weekend with Joey Logano visiting Victory Lane to snag the 2024 Cup Series title.
