Reproduction Ford Jubilee Crest Sign Up For Auction

While perusing various online collector car auctions, we regularly come across cool, rare, low-mile, and otherwise interesting Ford models from the past and present. Some of these vehicles aren’t worth much at all, while others sell for millions of dollars, and there’s clearly some stark diversity when it comes to those machines of interest, too. However, it isn’t just actual automobiles that we find at auction at least semi-frequently – collectors are also interested in a variety of signs, furniture, models, and other Blue Oval memorabilia as well, and those folks now have this very cool reproduction Ford “jubilee” crest sign to bid on, too.

Up for auction at Bring a Trailer, this vintage-looking neon Ford sign features white lettering over a blue background accented by yellow border ribbons, with a Ford crest that incorporates three lions. The sign measures in at roughly 72 inches tall, 33 inches wide, and 7 inches deep, and it weighs around 95 pounds – making it a solid and somewhat hefty piece that’s constructed from 22-gauge welded steel, hand-blown glass, commercial grade vinyl, and an aluminum backing.

Those multi-color neon tubes seen here are powered by 120-volt wiring, which makes it easy to plug into any space one might want to add some vintage Blue Oval flair. When lit up, it features sequential illumination for the yellow ribbons, too. It should be pretty easy to hang with a friend’s help, thanks to pre-drilled mounting holes present in the metal surround and backing plate, while a wooden shipping crate figures to protect the sign on its way to its new owner.

This is just the latest illuminated sign that we’ve seen pop up for auction recently, all of which would make a fine addition to anyone’s collection – or walls. That list includes an illuminated sign depicting a reproduction of the Ford script logo, a 1953 neon porcelain sign, a retro neon Ford V8 sign, and an entire collection of various reproduction signs, to boot.

Brett's lost track of all the Fords he's owned over the years and how much he's spent modifying them, but his current money pits include an S550 Mustang and 13th gen F-150.
