Retro Neon Ford V8 Sign Up For Auction

While perusing various online collector car auctions, we regularly come across cool, rare, low-mile, and otherwise interesting Ford models from the past and present. Some of these vehicles aren’t worth much at all, while others sell for millions of dollars, and there’s clearly some stark diversity when it comes to those machines of interest, too. However, it isn’t just actual automobiles that we find at auction at least semi-frequently – collectors are also interested in a variety of signs, furniture, models, and other Blue Oval memorabilia as well, and those folks now have this retro neon Ford V8 sign to bid on, too.

Up for grabs at Bring a Trailer, this neon Ford V8 sign is a reproduction and not actually a vintage piece, but it’s undoubtedly cool, regardless. Measuring in at around 30 inches wide by 34 inches tall and nine inches deep, it features a dark blue background, white lettering, and both white and blue neon tubing. The sign comes complete with a metal support structure, as well as mounting brackets, and is wired up for 120 volts, so it can be added just about anywhere, whether that be one’s Blue Oval-themed room, office, or garage.

The sign features mounting brackets that extend from the top of the metal enclosure so that it can be hung just about anywhere, and it’s currently housed in a wooden pallet for shipping purposes, as we can see in these photos. It looks quite nice when it’s lit up, giving up vintage vibes that are sure to resonate with any dyed-in-the-wool Ford fan that appreciates such things.

This is just the latest illuminated sign that we’ve seen pop up for auction recently, all of which would make a fine addition to anyone’s collection – or walls. That list includes an illuminated sign depicting a reproduction of the Ford script logo, a 1953 neon porcelain sign, and an entire collection of various reproduction signs, to boot.

Brett's lost track of all the Fords he's owned over the years and how much he's spent modifying them, but his current money pits include an S550 Mustang and 13th gen F-150.
