Like many more modern vehicles, earlier Lincoln Navigator models have slowly become collectible in recent years, with low-mile, well-kept examples selling for solid amounts of money as of late. These large, luxurious SUVs remain quite popular for a number of reasons, and truthfully, are still great values compared to newer models – which can easily top six figures if one purchases it brand new off a dealer lot. Thus, this 2008 Lincoln Navigator will seemingly attract its fair share of attention at auction, too.
This 2008 Lincoln Navigator is up for grabs at Bring a Trailer with a reasonable 57k miles on the clock, and it’s in solid condition after spending its life with just two owners – both in Florida – thus far. In fact, the auction listing doesn’t notate any flaws in its Vivid Red paint, which is accented by chrome 20-inch wheels, xenon headlights, power-folding heated mirrors, a roof rack, and a power-operated liftgate.
Inside the cabin, one will find plenty of luxuries including heated and ventilated front Camel leather seats, Figured Maple wood and Satin Nickel trim, a sunroof, the 600-watt THX II sound system, an in-dash CD changer, reclining second-row seats, an overhead rear-seat entertainment system with an eight-inch display, and a power-folding rear bench with a 60/40 split. Power comes from the Ford 5.4L V8, which in this guise was originally rated to send 300 horsepower and 365 pound-feet of torque to the rear wheels via a six-speed automatic transmission.
This is just the latest nice, low-mile Lincoln Navigator of this generation that we’ve stumbled across at various collector car auctions as of late. In fact, that list also includes a quite clean 2009 model with 54k miles that just surfaced last month, as well as another stellar 2010 with 52k original miles that crossed the block back in February of this year, too.
