The Ford Mustang nameplate is officially 60 years old, and to mark the occasion, The Blue Oval unveiled a special edition variant of the pony car aptly named the 60th Anniversary Package. Not only does this bundle fit the 2025 Ford Mustang with an exclusive suite of exterior graphics commemorating the milestone anniversary, it gives buyers the opportunity to snag an exclusive color from Mustang history: Brittany Blue. That limited edition color is featured on the model in the following photo gallery, and while we’re at it, Ford Authority explains just what that package includes.
Brittany Blue was first introduced on the 1967 Mustang. Enthusiasts interested in getting the exclusive hue only had three days to vie for the color – it was only offered to buyers who put their names in the hat between August 16th and August 19th, 2024. Only a select few were chosen from that list, and they were given the opportunity to partner with a VIP team to help them navigate the selection and order process.
Brittany Blue is only available on GT Premium fastback models with the 10-speed automatic transmission, and it also includes also includes the 401A package, Active-Valve Performance Exhaust, Brembo brakes, 3.55 limited-slip rear axle, 12-speaker B&O sound system, and Space Gray upholstery. It’s not clear how many units will be painted in Brittany Blue, but the package is limited to 1,965 units overall.
The 2025 Ford Mustang 60th Anniversary Package Approach also brings Detection with Welcome/Farewell exterior lighting to the pony car, giving the vehicle a life of its own when the driver approaches or walks away from it. However, opting for the package does remove the standard wedge decklid spoiler, lending a more streamlined look to the pony car.
Up front, it gets the painted High Gloss Black Honeycomb grille, complete with Iconic Silver inserts, while its LED headlamps are outlined with a thick black bezel. The ensemble includes Silver painted mirror caps, while unique side stripes feature the Anniversary Accent, leading the eye along the lower door of the 2025 Ford Mustang. In this case, the stripes are black, although they are also available in red.
For reference, this special model has a starting price of $65,245. Pricing for the 2025 Mustang with a V8 under the hood shot up compared to 2024. The pony car loses four colors that were available for the 2024 model year, although it does gain two new hues. Dual-zone climate control is now standard fare, while the EcoBoost trims lose the 2.3L High Performance Package (HPP). Production of the 2025 Ford Mustang began on November 4th, 2024 at the Flat Rock Assembly plant, as reported by Ford Authority.

Fords dumb with how it limits colors. You can get Brit Blue on an older EcoBoost Hi-Po package, a limited GT500 package or this 60th, but weirdly not on a GT or Mach1? It’s good enough for a 40k 4banger(that to note uses recolored 50th anniversary wheels) or a 100k Shelby but nothing between?
