Spotify Wrapped is a feature that many users of that particular streaming platform have been fans of since it debuted back in 2016. Wrapped gives Spotify users some interesting data regarding their activity on the platform over the past year, typically in November or December, such as the musicians, songs, and genres that they listened to the most. What makes Spotify Wrapped extra enticing is that is also allows users to share that information on their social media channels, doubling as a marketing campaign for the company in that manner. Thus, perhaps it isn’t a surprise that Ford has launched something similar called BlueCruise Recap.

Recently, Ford BlueCruise General Manager Ashley Lambrix shared her own BlueCruise Recap on X, which reveals that she tends to use the feature mostly when commuting to and from the office while behind the wheel of her Ford Mustang Mach-E GT. Over the past year, she racked up 2,703 miles of hands-free driving, which took 40 hours, as her Recap revealed in this particular clip.
BlueCruise usages continues to climb, along with the number of vehicles that are equipped with the hands-free highway driving feature. In fact, there were 537,000 BlueCruise enabled vehicles on U.S. roads at the conclusion of Q3 2024, which is a 29 percent increase compared to Q2. In addition to adding a free BlueCruise trial to certified pre-owned BlueAdvantage vehicles in October, Ford continues to tweak that particular feature and its pricing. That same month, Ford lowered the price of BlueCruise and began offering both a one-year BlueCruise plan and a one-time purchase option, the former of which is included as standard or as an option on various vehicle lines and trims. It will also continue to offer a 90-day complimentary trial, after which customers can opt to pay monthly or annually if they wish to continue using BlueCruise.

Wow, Ford offers all kinds of things for BlueCruise except for actual promised updates. The only thing that the users are asking for.
