Ford Brazil Will Close Out 2024 With Record Sales

Ford Brazil has completely revamped its lineup over the past couple of years, and those efforts have thus far paid off in a big way. In fact, that division saw its sales grow by 55 percent in November 2023, year-over-year, as well as 38 percent year-to-date through the end of that same month, noting that it expected that momentum to continue throughout the duration of 2024 as well. Now, that’s precisely what’s set to happen as Ford Brazil is poised to set a new record in terms of sales this year.

Ford Brazil will close out the year with a substantial 70 percent increase in sales after moving over 47,000 vehicles, which is its best result since overhauling its lineup some time ago. This success can be attributed to a number of different segments and models as well – Ford sold more trucks than any other brand in Brazil this year, while the Ford Ranger posted a 60 percent sales increase, Ford Maverick sales grew by 123 percent, the Ford Mustang increased by 95 percent, the Ford Bronco Sport doubled its sales from a year ago, and the Territory tripled its previous result as well.

Regardless, Ford Brazil isn’t exactly resting on its laurels, as it plans to add 10 more products to its lineup in 2025, including a manual transmission version of the Mustang. “This exceptional result of Ford in 2024 is a recognition of the work we are developing in all areas of the business, not only to deliver the best quality to the customer and a memorable experience with the brand, but also in the relationship with the network, generating a very high level of satisfaction,” said Martín Galdeano, president of Ford South America.

This success comes after a strong past couple of months in terms of sales, as Ford Brazil enjoyed a 83 percent increase in September, followed by a 66 percent gain in October. Along with the redesigned Ranger and the aforementioned models, the Ford E-Transit and Ford Pro commercial division have been a smash hit since arriving in Brazil, too.
