Ford Chile sales increased 17 percent to 1,418 units in November 2024. The figures place Ford as the country’s sixth best-selling automobile brand during the month, behind Toyota, Hyundai, Chevrolet, Suzuki and Kia.
Chilean auto sales figures are limited since reporting only shows the best-selling models in each segment. As such, no sales data is available for vehicles that sell in lower volumes. Nevertheless, individual Ford model sales performance (for models for which sales data is available) was as follows:
- Ford F-Series sales decreased 8.59 percent to 149 units
- Ford Heavy Trucks sales were flat at 0 units
- Ford Maverick sales totaled 126 units
- Ford Ranger sales decreased 5.41 percent to 507 units
- Ford Territory sales increased 37.92 percent to 331 units
- Ford Transit sales increased 104.69 percent to 131 units

The Ford Authority Take
Following a record 1,572 deliveries achieved in October, November Ford Chile sales represent the brand’s consecutive monthly increase.
Unlike previous months, the reason for the increase in Ford Chile sales in November was not the best-selling Ford Ranger – which was in the red this month, but rather a combination of gains achieved by three other models. Firstly, the Ford Territory saw the most significant increase, consolidating its position as the brand’s second best-selling model (behind the aforementioned Ranger).
It was followed by the Ford Transit, which achieved the highest growth rate during the month on a year-over-year basis. The Ford Maverick also contributed by adding 126 deliveries to the bottom line, continuing to be one of the most popular models in its class in the local market.
