The all-new Ford Everest launched in select markets a few years ago as what’s essentially an SUV version of the Ford Ranger, offering up off-road capability with room for the whole family. Now in its third generation, the Ford Everest is mainly sold in places like Australia, New Zealand, the Middle East, and various countries in the Asia-Pacific region, but now, the mid-size utility vehicle is also adding another market to its list – Argentina.
The seven-seat, three-row Ford Everest will officially launch in the South American country of Argentina in the first half of 2025, the automaker has announced. As is the case in other markets, the Everest will be built in Thailand and exported to Argentina, where it will immediately become Ford’s largest SUV on sale in that country. However, the Ford Everest will join a rapidly-expanding lineup there, regardless, which includes the sporty, all-new Ford Ranger Black, the Ford Mustang GT Performance, and the refreshed 2024 Ford F-150 Tremor and PowerBoost hybrid.
Ford hasn’t yet provided any additional details about the Ford Everest that will be sold in Argentina – whether that be available configurations, trims, or pricing – but the SUV did just receive some updates for the 2025 model year. The 2025 Ford Everest lineup now comes equipped with a 400W power inverter that includes a socket inside of the cabin, just like the Ranger. That feature will be present in every trim of the 2025 Ford Everest except for the entry-level Ambiente, though it is getting an acoustic windshield to help cut down on road noise. As for the Sport trim, it’s now equipped with eight speakers instead of 10, and the luxurious Platinum is losing its active park assist feature. Otherwise, Ford Australia noted that the Everest is receiving some unspecified “minor changes to interior trim and appearance across the range.”
Aside from these tweaks, the biggest addition to the 2025 Ford Everest lineup is the new off-road-focused Tremor, which just debuted back in August. The new Tremor is equipped with goodies such as a signature Tremor grille with factory-fitted auxiliary LED lighting, tow hooks, and a steel bash plate, unique 17-inch alloy wheels wrapped with General Grabber AT3 All-Terrain tires, Asphalt Black wheel arch moldings, coupled with a variety of distinct touches inside the cabin, too.
