Back in early 2021, the Ford Ranger MS-RT (M-Sport Road Technology) debuted in Europe as a pretty unique and sporty offering inspired by the automaker’s global rally racing efforts, and it was soon joined by the new Transit Custom MS-RT as well. Following the arrival of the redesigned mid-size pickup some time ago, a new version of the Ford Ranger MS-RT debuted for the European market this past February. Now that same, sporty pickup is heading to Thailand, too.
The Ford Ranger MS-RT designed for Thailand was created in conjunction between The Blue Oval, its dealers in that country, and RMA Group, which is an authorized Ford Qualified Vehicle Modifier (QVM) partner. It’s inspired by the automaker’s long-standing partnership with M-Sport, and is designed to give customers a racing-inspired, street performance-focused pickup that can be had in two exterior hues – Command Grey and Absolute Black – though it’s limited to just 200 units of production with pricing starting out at 1,749,000 baht ($51,912 USD).
The new Ford Ranger MS-RT is powered by the automaker’s turbocharged 3.0L V6 diesel engine making 250 PS (247 horsepower) and 600 Nm (443 pound-feet) of torque, which is mated to the 10-speed automatic transmission driving all four wheels. On the outside, the sporty pickup features a revised front end with a honeycomb grille and an integrated splitter, side skirts, a rear bumper with an integrated diffuser, ducktail and cab spoilers, flared wheel arches, and diamond-cut 21-inch wheels wrapped with 275/45 R21 tires.
The Ford Ranger MS-RT touts a specially-tuned suspension setup with beefier dampers and a 40 mm (1.57 inches) reduction in height, and it comes with standard power side steps, to boot. Inside the cabin, one will find new sports seats up front with additional bolstering, which are upholstered in eco-leather and suede, MS-RT logos, and blue stitching, along with a sports steering wheel with a blue 12 o-clock market and stitching, making for a rather unique package.

C’mon Ford (Motorsports), I drive an Edge ST & Jaguars. I want a truck I can throw around on the road, and it won’t be a Maverick with an ST 7 speed. I like that 10 speed on the Ranger Ecoboost. It can scoot……
