Of all the automakers up for recognition, The Blue Oval is in sole possession of the most wins in the 2025 Vincentric Best CPO (Certified Pre-Owned) Value Awards. Not only did the automaker sweep six total awards for individual models in its lineup, it also captured the trophy as the Best CPO Value Truck Brand. Add Ford vans to the list of winning vehicles – the automaker also claimed the title as the best van brand on the list.
For the ninth consecutive year, Ford vans were recognized as the outstanding vehicles in the Best CPO Value Van brand. Best-in-class performances by the Ford Transit cargo and passenger vans, along with the Ford E-Transit 350, helped The Blue Oval take home the honors in this category. Specifically, the Ford E-Transit 350 was on top in Large Cargo Van division, and the Transit Connect finished first in the Small Commercial Passenger Van and Small Commercial Cargo Van segments.
When examining models and manufacturers for its awards, Vincentric measures the cost of ownership of a variety of used models via eight different cost factors: depreciation, fees & taxes, financing, fuel, insurance, maintenance, opportunity cost, and repairs. Using a statistical model, winners were identified by measuring which vehicles had lower than expected ownership costs given their market segment and price. Each vehicle was evaluated in all 50 states plus Washington D.C. using a range of annual mileage intervals and insurance profiles with the assumption that each would be driven 15,000 miles annually over five years.
