Have You Considered A Lightly Used Ford Edge Lately?

The Ford Edge in North America was officially discontinued when production of the long-running crossover ended earlier this year, which is tough news for folks that appreciate a practical, reliable, and affordable mode of transportation. Meanwhile, new Ford Edge inventory is drying up, and there are certainly some good deals to be found in terms of what’s left. However, those willing to look at used Ford Edge models will likely find even better bargains at the moment.

There are many examples of this across the U.S. at the moment, but we stumbled across a pair of used Ford Edge crossovers that look like great deals. The first is a certified pre-owned, full-loaded, 2024 Edge Titanium at Riverside Ford in Tulsa, Oklahoma, which has just over 16k miles on the clock and is being sold for $29,994 – quite a bit cheaper than its original sticker price of $45,315. There’s also a 2022 Ford Edge Titanium for sale at Cloninger Ford in Morganton, North Carolina, which has 66k miles on the clock, but is listed for a mere $20,363.

These Edge models have most of the modern features and amenities present in today’s brand new vehicles, and yet, are selling for quite a lot less, making them pretty attractive for those in the market for such a vehicle. In fact, the 2025 Ford Escape – which is smaller and touts worse reliability scores – starts out at $27,995 for the base Active model, while the Ford Bronco Sport Big Bend has a starting MSRP of $29,995. Both vehicles have less to offer in terms of features, to boot, unless one steps up to higher trims and spends much more money.

Used Ford Edge models certainly have a lot going for them, as that particular model has racked up loads of accolades recently – in fact, Consumer Reports named it as one of the best choices for teen drivers, one of the most reliable SUVs on the market, and one of the most reliable three-year-old SUVs, and the Edge also ranked third in the mid-size SUV segment of J.D. Power’s 2024 U.S. Initial Quality Study (IQS).

  3. Bought a 2020 with 20K miles earlier this year. Was really looking for an off Ford employee lease Explorer Hybrid. Tough search. My dealer sourced it from a Ford employee leased vehicle auction and I bought it as a place holder until they could find an Explorer Hybrid or I can order a new one. I am a Ford guy, but this is one product I likely would not have initially considered. But I liked the looks of it, my wife likes driving it. It can seat 4-5 adults reasonably comfortable, and it is comfortable for my 6’2, 240 lb frame. It is an extremely well equipped Titanium. I really like it. Sorry I can not buy another new one in the future.
