Heavily-Modified SEMA 2017 Ford Super Duty Up For Auction

The annual SEMA Show routinely presents us with some of the wildest one-off custom builds on earth, most of which come from either aftermarket companies or automotive manufacturers like Ford. While some of those builds remain with those that put them together for some time, a large number wind up hitting the auction block at some point – oftentimes, years after they debut at SEMA. That’s once again the case with this 2017 Ford Super Duty F-350, which is up for grabs right now with a rather long modifications list to offer.

This 2017 Ford Super Duty was built by Hellwig Suspension Products for the SEMA Show that same year, where it received the accolade known as Special Recognition for Outstanding Achievement in Design from Ford. Now, it’s up for grabs at Bring a Trailer with 93k miles on the clock, looking for a new home and new adventures. It certainly stands out from the crowd thanks to its digi-camo accents, Fab Four bumpers, metal grille, Warn winch, Bushwacker fender flares, AMP Research power-deployable running boards, Rigid LED lights,  and 17-inch Method wheels wrapped with 37×12.50-inch Falken Wildpeak A/T tires.

Underneath, one will find a three-inch suspension lift from Icon Vehicle Dynamics that adds remote-reservoir front coilovers and piggyback-reservoir helper shocks, along with Hellwig’s “Big Wig” rear air springs and forged adjustable sway bars. Power comes from the turbocharged Ford 6.7L V8 Power Stroke diesel, which was factory-rated to produce 440 horsepower and 925 pound-feet of torque and has been fitted with a Magnaflow DPF-back exhaust system with a six-speed automatic transmission behind it.

In recent months, we’ve seen a bevy of former SEMA stars head to auction, in addition to this one. Most recently, that list includes a wild yellow 2021 Ford Bronco Badlands, a 1971 Ford F-100 restomod, a Ford F-250 Highboy, and a flamed 2010 Ford Mustang, to name just a few.

Brett's lost track of all the Fords he's owned over the years and how much he's spent modifying them, but his current money pits include an S550 Mustang and 13th gen F-150.
