The 2025 Ford Escape soldiers on without any major changes or updates to the crossover. Previously, Ford Authority laid out all optional packages the crossover has to offer, along with all six wheel options available to its buyers. Now, we’re examining the available exterior paint colors, including pricing and availability for each one.
Rapid Red Metallic Tinted Clearcoat
Star White Metallic Tri-Coat
Agate Black Metallic
Carbonized Gray Metallic
Space Silver Metallic
Oxford White
Vapor Blue Metallic
All told, there are six exterior hues available for the 2025 Ford Escape, including a variety of no-cost options and one that costs extra. Note that most paint colors are available on every 2025 Escape trim, which includes Active, PHEV, ST-Line, ST-Line Select, ST-Line Elite, and Platinum. Agate Black Metallic (paint code UM) is a zero-cost option, as are Carbonized Gray Metallic (M7), and Vapor Blue Metallic (K1). Oxford White (YZ) is also a no-cost color, but is exclusively offered on the Active trim.
Space Silver Metallic (A3) is an all-new color for the 2025 Ford Escape, and just like the aforementioned hues, it’s also a no-cost option for the popular crossover. Star White Metallic Tri-Coat (AZ), meanwhile, is the only hue that’s not offered across the lineup; it’s not available on the base 2025 Ford Escape Active trim, but is offered on all others as a $995 upgrade. Finally, Rapid Red Metallic Tinted Clearcoat (D4) is a $495 extra offered on all 2025 Escape trims.
The 2025 Ford Escape ditches two colors that were previously available for the crossover, including Iconic Silver Metallic and Race Red.
The 2025 Ford Escape doesn’t boast many changes compared to its 2024 model year counterpart, although as Ford Authority previously reported, the ST-Line trim doesn’t feature body color painted bumpers or rocker panels. These are reserved exclusively for the ST-Line Elite trim, while the ST-Line Select retains its body color mirrors. The “regular” ST-Line, meanwhile, gets black body cladding instead.
The Cold Weather Package is also gone from the all-wheel drive Active, ST-Line Active, and ST-Line trims. The 2025 Ford Escape Active has also lost its previously-standard eight-way power driver’s seat, replacing it with a six-way manual seat. The ST-Line is losing its aluminum foot pedals that were previously standard on all three ST-Line trims, while the ST-Line Elite and Platinum are ditching the previously-standard ambient lighting and 360-degree camera.
Production of the 2025 Ford Escape, which is handled at the at the Louisville Assembly plant in Kentucky, started on September 19th, 2024. Pricing starts at $27,995, not including destination freight charges.
Comments
Just picked up a vapor blue 2025 hybrid FWD Escape Platinum for the wife from Sarasota Ford.
Pretty impressive car in my opinion, and it runs and drives incredibly well.
We’ll see about it’s function and reliability over the next few years, but as it is now, I find it to be a pretty impressive car.
Nice! That’s the model I’m considering when the time comes. Best wishes for many years of safe and reliable driving.
The most boring color palette of any compact crossover, for sure.
Anyone that buys a Platinum or even an ST-Line Elite of this atrociously uncompetitive model needs to stand in line for a brain transplant. Even the Active and base ST-Lines are questionable buys.
Merry Christmas
One red, one blue, and everything else a shade of gray. That’s basically every car now.
