The 2025 Ford Escape Hybrid stands as an affordable middle ground for buyers looking for a fuel efficient crossover without going full EV. While the crossover is less expensive for 2025 than it was for the 2024 model year, when properly equipped, its price tag can run over $44,000 with all the bells and whistles.
We’re starting with the Escape ST-Line Elite, which is the most expensive trim in the lineup that offers the 2.5L hybrid powertrain. Right out of the gate, selecting this engine – as opposed to the 2.0L EcoBoost I4 – bumps the starting price to $40,300, including destination freight charges (DFC).
Thankfully, all of its available color options are zero-cost. That leads to optional packages available for the 2025 Ford Escape Hybrid. The ST-Line Elite trim can be fitted with the $1,910 Premium Technology Package, which kits it out with a handful of technological features like front parking sensors, a 360-degree camera with split view, and a B&O sound system with 10 speakers and a subwoofer built right in for audiophiles. It also gets a Head-Up Display and ActiveX trimmed seats for the first time, since it’s a Premium package.
There’s also the $495 Class II Trailer Tow Package, which equips the Escape with a handful of handy towing features. Customers can also select the Panoramic Vista Roof for $1,595, opening up the roof to the sky, while the optional SecuriCode keypad adds $455 to the overall cost of the crossover. With all that selected, the 2025 Ford Escape Hybrid runs $44,260, including DFC, making it one of the pricier models in the Escape lineup.
While there are plenty of optional extras that make the 2025 Escape Hybrid an attractive buy, it does leave some other features behind. That includes the rain sensing wipers, Active Park Assist 2.0, and interior ambient lighting, all of which are things of the past. However, it does feature a myriad of unique wheels, as Ford Authority previously reported.
Production of the 2025 Ford Escape, which is handled at the at the Louisville Assembly plant in Kentucky, started on September 19th, 2024.
