While FoMoCo itself recently unveiled the 2025 Ford Bronco Stroppe Edition, an off-road racing-focused version of the Bronco with a special paint scheme, Saleen Automotive has officially pulled the sheets off an alternative to the $76,000 pony. The Saleen Bronco, a modified Ford Bronco built for the ultimate off-road performance, pays homage to “Big Oly,” the legendary Bronco and Baja 1000 winner driven by Parnelli Jones.
Under the hood, the Saleen Bronco harnesses the 2.7L EcoBoost V6 with a special Saleen tune, tweaking the powerhouse enough to produce 375 horsepower and 500 pound-feet of torque. It also gets advanced Saleen Racecraft, mid-travel suspension, and 37-inch BFGoodrich tires. Its suspension harnesses BVS Technology with a special five-link design, which has been specifically engineered for performance at high speeds across challenging terrain.
The Saleen Bronco can be easily identified by its special front bumper, while a tough underbody skid plate protects the off-road pony’s critical mechanical bits from errant rocks and other obstacles. A redesigned Saleen grille and dual-vent heat extractor hoods helps maximize airflow.
It also features custom front and rear fenders with integrated vents, along with a redesigned rear bumper for high-clearance angles. A high-downforce rear wing completes the ensemble, which was inspired by classic off-road racers, including the real-life Big Oly. The ensemble is completed with KC HiLites for maximum visibility and a rear exit exhaust that pipes the sound of that Saleen-tuned engine in the best way possible.
Inside, the driver and passengers are treated to premium leather seats with Alcantara suede inserts, paired with an Alcantara-wrapped steering wheel with body-color accents. There are two exterior color schemes on offer, including the Olympia Beer livery, or custom Saleen Colorlab paint.
“The Saleen Bronco is for the enthusiasts who grew up with the Saleen legacy, but now seek adventure beyond the pavement,” said Steve Saleen of Saleen Automotive. “It’s a vehicle that embodies everything we stand for: speed, technical capability, and uncompromising style; the perfect blend of nostalgia and next-generation off-road engineering.”
Saleen encourages interested buyers to contact the company directly for pricing and availability.
