To ease the strain of charging electric vehicles in the United States, Ford Motor Company implemented the Ford Power Promise program. This initiative provides benefits to Ford Mustang Mach-E, Ford E-Transit, and Ford F-150 Lightning owners in North America, like a free home charger and installation, along with 24/7 access to charging assistance wherever they are. A similar set of deals is now available to Australian buyers of the Mustang Mach-E, aimed at promoting EV adoption in Oceania.
The benefits, detailed on CarExpert, include complimentary charging, insurance, and servicing, available to buyers of the Ford Mustang Mach-E in Australia through December 31st, 2024. They’ll get a $500 EV charging voucher to use at participating Evie charging stations, which streamlines the charging process by eliminating the need for a smartphone app or RFID chip.
Additionally, Ford Mustang Mach-E owners can take advantage of six months of complimentary Ford insurance, offered exclusively to buyers who take out a 12-month policy and pay monthly. Finally, Mustang Mach-E buyers won’t have to worry about paying for the first three services on their electric crossovers, which occur at 15,000 km or 12-month intervals, whichever rolls around first. This can save buyers up to $465 on routine maintenance.
In Australia, 612 units of the Mustang Mach-E landed in the hands of Australian buyers from January through October. The Ford Escape and Ford Transit were the only two vehicles in The Blue Oval’s lineup with fewer deliveries – 366 and 100, respectively. Falling demand prompted the automaker to slash Mustang Mach-E prices in Australia, which still starts at over $70,400 AUD (approximately $45,629 USD) including destination freight charges.
Demand for the Ford Mustang Mach-E hasn’t exactly been hot as of late. As previously reported by Ford Authority, the Mustang Mach-E had the highest inventory levels of any EV on the market in the U.S. as of October 2024, signaling a steady decline in interest since the crossover’s launch in 2021. To combat this, The Blue Oval is offering a deal for zero percent financing for 72 months, along with other discounts and incentives.

Model Y is still better value even with this deal as it’s still too expensive imo.
Mach-E is Ford AU’s least selling active vehicle. Escape has been discontinued since end of 2023 and when sales of all Transit variants are combined it easily outsells the Mach-E.
