Ford Pro may best be known as the automaker’s commercial-focused division that sells a host of fleet vehicles, but it’s also a large software and services company on its own regard, too. In fact, Ford Pro has long pushed the fact that it provides commercial customers with a comprehensive suite of services that includes software designed to optimize operating costs, which is financially rewarding for those entities, as well as incredibly popular for the automaker itself. Now, Ford Pro is adding another interesting feature that will be directly integrated into those services – Zubie.
Zubie provides fleet telematics solutions to businesses, and will now look to expand that reach thanks to its direct integration with Ford Pro. Zubie offers customers real-time access to detailed vehicle diagnostic and health data, delivered through Ford’s commercial vehicle connectivity platform. Customers can now take advantage of the proprietary, software-based telematics solution known as Zubie Direct Connect without the need to purchase any additional hardware, giving them insights such as a vehicle’s location, fuel level, odometer reading, and tire pressure remotely.
Zubie Direct Connect is designed to work seamlessly with Ford Pro’s technology, creating a scalable solution for businesses that can reportedly help them reduce costs, improve safety, and streamline their operations – not to mention help those same businesses better migrate into the future of fleet management, which is becoming increasingly digital. Zubie notes that businesses can leverage real-time vehicle data to make informed decisions, optimize resource allocation, and enhance the overall efficiency of their fleet management strategies, too.
“Working with Ford Pro Data Services enhances Zubie’s ability to offer businesses the tools they need to succeed in the digital age,” said Chad Caswell, CEO of Zubie. “We’re committed to providing unique and adaptable solutions that empower businesses to take full control of their fleet operations.”
