In recent months, we’ve begun seeing more and more modern vehicles with low miles surface for sale at collector car auctions – models that weren’t limited in terms of production, nor are they sporty or exotic machines, either. In fact, quite a few early Lincoln Navigator SUVs have popped up for sale as of late, signaling that we may be looking at the next hot collectible vehicle – and now, this second-generation 2004 Lincoln Navigator looks to test that theory yet again.
This 2004 Lincoln Navigator fits the bill with just 33k miles on the clock, and it’s up for auction at Bring a Trailer looking no worse for wear. It was registered to just one owner prior to its recent acquisition by the selling dealer, and features stellar Oxford White paint coupled with gray lower cladding and 18-inch eight-spoke alloy wheels wrapped with Goodyear Assurance tires. Everything looks to be in tidy condition, save for the fact that the rear parking sensors aren’t working at the moment. The air compressor for the factory adjustable air suspension was recently replaced, too.
Inside, one will find a tidy cabin with Dove Gray leather covered heated and ventilated power-adjustable front seats and second-row captain’s chairs, plus amenities such as a rear seat DVD entertainment system, automatic climate control, and cruise control. Power comes from the naturally-aspirated Ford 5.4L V8, which in this guise was factory rated to send 300 horsepower and 355 pound-feet of torque to the wheels via a four-speed automatic transmission.
This is just the latest of many second-generation Lincoln Navigator SUVs we’ve seen surface for sale at various collector car auctions as of late. That list includes another 2004 with a mere 35k miles on the clock, as well as a very nice 2005 model with 57k miles, to name just a few on this ever-growing tally.
