The Lincoln Navigator may not be something that most folks would immediately think of as collectible, but as we’ve seen via the online collector car auction circuit in recent months, that certainly seems to be the case. We’ve come across quite a few first-generation Lincoln Navigator SUVs at those sites, in fact, all of which have low miles on the clock and continue to sell for more money than one might expect. The latest example of this phenomenon comes to us in the form of this 2008 Lincoln Navigator, which is quite nice and shows a reasonable 62k miles on the odometer.
This 2008 Lincoln Navigator is up for auction at Bring a Trailer, after it was sold new at Landmark Lincoln-Mercury of Englewood, Colorado, and remained in that same state until it was recently acquired by the selling dealer. The exterior is in excellent condition with flawless White Chocolate Tri-Coat paint and shiny chrome trim, along with a set of 20-inch aluminum wheels wrapped with 275/55 Cooper Evolution H/T tires.
Inside the cabin, one will find Camel leather seating surfaces coupled with maple woodgrain trim accents and amenities such as dual-zone automatic climate control, cruise control, a rear-seat DVD entertainment system, and heated, cooled, and power-adjustable front bucket seats, plus the THX II Certified audio system, though there are some cracks in certain parts of the wood trim, and some wear on the driver’s seat. Power comes from the naturally-aspirated Ford 5.4L V8, which was factory-rated to produce 310 horsepower and 365 pound-feet of torque and is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission.
Of course, this is just the latest of several earlier Lincoln Navigator models with low miles that has popped up as of late – that list also includes a 2008 Navigation with 57k miles, a 2009 with 54k miles, and a 2010 model with 52k miles, to name just a few.
