2022 Ford GT With 13 Miles Up For Auction

No matter which of the many variants The Blue Oval offered over its handful of years in production, any Ford GT is a special and valuable machine, regardless. The Ford GT was quite expensive and difficult to procure when new, but now, we see plenty of used examples hit the collector car auction circuit on a regular basis. Of course, none of those examples are what one might call cheap, with some selling for well over a million dollars these days – and we imagine this 13-mile 2022 Ford GT won’t be an exception to that rule, either.

This barely-driven 2022 Ford GT is up for auction at Bring a Trailer after it was sold new at Ron DuPratt Ford in Dixon, California, and it’s been in the possession of the original owner since then. This well-optioned machine is equipped with the Dark Energy Interior Upgrade and Matte Exterior Carbon Fiber packages, coupled with Frozen White paint and 20-inch matte exposed carbon fiber wheels, and as one might imagine, all of that looks like brand new with no flaws noted in the auction listing.

Inside the cabin, one will find Sparco seats finished in black leather with manually reclining carbon-fiber shells, along with exposed carbon fiber pieces on the dashboard, center console, door sills, and door panels. Other notable features include an adjustable pedal box and steering column, a touchscreen infotainment system, automatic climate control, and six-point harness anchors. Power comes from the twin-turbocharged 3.5L V6 EcoBoost, which in this guise was factory-rated to send 660 horsepower and 550 pound-feet of torque to the rear wheels via a Getrag seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transaxle.

This Ford GT is certainly a special car, but then again, that’s the case with all of them, really. It joins a crowded auction lot as of late, a list that has included such rides as a 2021 Ford GT Studio Collection that’s one of just 40 built, as well as a 2022 GT Carbon Series, to name just a couple.

Brett's lost track of all the Fords he's owned over the years and how much he's spent modifying them, but his current money pits include an S550 Mustang and 13th gen F-150.

  1. This is such a beauty it should bring well over a Million dollars.
Personally if I had enough money to afford one, I think I might have driven it daily.
