The Ford F-150 Raptor R debuted for the 2023 model year as the V8-powered variant that fans of the off-road-focused pickup had asked for ever since the second-generation model ditched it for a V6 years ago. Built in small quantities for 2023, the Ford F-150 Raptor R has thus far been difficult to purchase for sticker price, and we’ve also seen examples sell for big bucks on the collector car auction circuit, too. Now, this refreshed 2024 Ford F-150 Raptor R is up for auction, and it’s already attracting a ton of interest as well.
This 2024 Ford F-150 Raptor R is up for auction at Bring a Trailer with 190 miles on the clock, and as of this writing, has already been bid up so high that it has almost reached its original MSRP of $114,450 – which bodes well for the seller making a profit here. It’s finished in Carbonized Gray Metallic and features all of the things that make the Raptor R unique compared to its V6-powered counterpart – including a revised vented hood, Code Orange front tow hooks and R badges, plus 17-inch forged-aluminum beadlock-capable wheels wrapped with 37-inch BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A K02 tires.
Inside the cabin, one will find heated and ventilated front bucket seats upholstered in black leather and microsuede upholstery with Raptor R lettering on the backrests, along with an auxiliary switch bank, the Bang & Olufsen sound system, a head-up display, adaptive cruise control, and SYNC 4 infotainment with a 12-inch touchscreen. The supercharged 5.2L V8 underhood makes 720 horsepower and 640 pound-feet of torque, which is 20 horsepower more than the outgoing model.
In addition to that increase, the 2024 Ford F-150 Raptor R features a new modular front bumper that’s accessory-capable, an optional light bar, standard forged tow hooks, a wide blackout grille, new headlamps, Shelter Green as a paint option, new graphics, and a larger power dome hood. Underneath, the 2024 Ford F-150 Raptor lineup comes with new Fox dual live-valve shocks with position-sensitive compression control and continuously variable rebound controls, too.
