The 2025 Ford Bronco Free Wheeling brings a vibrant, retro vibe to the off-road SUV, featuring eye-catching sunset gradient stripes that pay homage to iconic stock paint schemes of the 1970s and 1980s. The optional appearance package is exclusive to the Bronco Big Bend trim, meaning it might be a bit of a rare sight out on public roads, so Ford Authority is taking a closer look at the brightly colored off-road SUV in the following photo gallery.
The 2025 Ford Bronco Free Wheeling Package (option code 51F) is a $2,495 upgrade on the aforementioned Big Bend trim. Viewing the model head-on reveals its special Iconic Silver-painted grille with white “Bronco” lettering and red accents, a callback to classic Bronco models. Said package is offered with every Bronco color, except for Marsh Gray (paint code T9) or Desert Sand (paint code VA).
As previously mentioned, the sides of the Bronco Free Wheeling are overlaid with gradient stripes, featuring red, oranges, and yellows. Its door handles, meanwhile, are painted body color, while 17-inch Black High Gloss-painted steel wheels reside in all four corners (although opting for the Sasquatch Package in conjunction with Free Wheeling grants a set of 17-inch Bright Machined Black High Gloss-painted alloy wheels with Red accents).
Inside, the 2025 Ford Bronco Free Wheeling gets even more special accents, like its marine grade vinyl seats that feature a sunset theme mirroring the exterior graphics. It also gets special floor liners, both up front and in the rear, with carpet floor mats.
In addition to the new Free Wheeling Package, the 2025 Ford Bronco gets some other significant updates to its trim level structure. This includes the reintroduction of the Base trim, which wasn’t available for the 2024 model year, while four trims have gone the wayside and are no longer offered: Black Diamond, Wildtrak, Everglades, and Heritage Limited. The off-road pony also gets a digital gauge cluster as standard, along with rear HVAC vents, improving passenger comfort.
With the Base trim back on the order books, the 2025 Ford Bronco is just as affordable as it was for 2024, starting at $37,995 excluding destination freight charges. Production of the off-road SUV was pushed back two weeks at the Michigan Assembly plant, and will now start near the end of January 2025 as reported by Ford Authority. Speaking of assembly, The Blue Oval elected to thin out its Ford Bronco production in the face of waning demand for the model.
