The 2025 Ford Bronco lineup marks the return of one interesting option from the past – the Free Wheeling package – which previously debuted on the Ford Bronco Sport for the 2024 model year. The 2025 Ford Bronco Free Wheeling appearance package features the same familiar combination of red, orange, and yellow gradient graphics present on a variety of trucks, vans, and SUV models from the 1970s and 1980s, including the F-100, F-150, Bronco, and Econoline, which also featured painted steel wheels, black exterior finishes, and red/orange stitching inside the cabin. Now, we’re getting our first look at this particular combination with a painted hard top.

Mike Levine, Ford’s North America Product Communications director, recently posted this photo of a 2025 Ford Bronco Free Wheeling with a black-painted hard top on Threads, which seems to have been taken at the 2025 Detroit Auto Show. The painted hard top option was originally slated to debut alongside the sixth-generation Bronco for the 2021 model year, but faced multiple delays before launching in 2024 for the regular model, as well as the Ford Bronco Raptor.
As for the 2025 Ford Bronco Free Wheeling appearance package, it’s only available on the Big Bend trim, and adds a host of notable features. Those include reflective red, orange, and yellow graphics on the body sides, along with body color door handles, an Iconic Silver grille with a red “Bronco” script, plus 17-inch gloss black steel wheels as standard equipment. Opting for the Sasquatch Package adds a set of 17-inch gloss black wheels with a machined lip and red pockets, too. Inside the cabin, the new package includes unique seats that features a mixture of marine-grade vinyl and fabric. The package is available now, and joins a few other changes for the new model year – including the addition of the new Stroppe Edition Bronco.

Sorry, not interested in a 70’s styled, 60K clown car.
.. I agree, Mrx. ugh..
I for one really like this appearance package, love the seats and the wheels are pretty cool as well. I’m also very secure in my manliness.
That is not LGBT COLOR THIS THE 🏳️🌈
THAT COLOR IS IN THE 1979 AND I HAVE ONE. Unique one that not everyone have the same taste of car!
Only one in Cincinnati Ordered last year and waited for 8 months! Very nice interior design. Cool! 😎 NEVER DRIVE BORING CAR! Get the unique one that no one has ever driven!
I think its cool. I like anything bright and eye catching. My issue is you can only get it on a big bend so no heated wheel or ACC. If you could get it on a Lux outer banks id be interested.
