2025 Ford F-150 Trailer Tow Mirrors: Feature Spotlight

With a towing capacity exceeding 13,000 pounds when properly equipped, the 2025 Ford F-150 is an excellent choice for buyers in the market for a pickup that excels at hauling. To make the towing process even easier and safer, The Blue Oval offers a few standalone trailer tow mirrors that help the driver keep an eye on their trailer and the world behind it. Ford Authority spotlights these towing mirrors below, including pricing and availability by trim level.

There are two unique trailer tow mirrors offered up for the 2025 Ford F-150, but they’re not available on every trim level. The base 2025 F-150 XL trim, for example, does not offer towing mirrors, and neither do the Tremor or range-topping Raptor trims. However, the F-150 STX and XLT trims offer a freestanding set of manual-folding, manually telescoping towing mirrors (option code 54Y), complete with heat, turn signals, high-intensity LED security approach lamps, along with LED sideview mirror spotlights. The skull caps are finished in black. Available for $395, these trailer tow mirrors require that the optional $785 Tow/Haul Package (option code 53T) also be equipped.

Meanwhile, buyers of the 2025 Ford F-150 Lariat, King Ranch, and Platinum trims can opt for the PowerScope telescoping towing mirrors (option code 54W) for $395. These trailer tow mirrors are fitted with power and heated glass, turn signals, memory functionality, auto-dimming on the driver’s side, high-intensity LED security approach lamps, and LED sideview mirror spotlights. These mirrors feature chrome skull caps, and just like the manual folding mirrors, they require the Tow/Haul Package.

Now that the 2025 Ford F-150 configurator is live, prospective buyers can explore what the pickup costs, where they’ll find that certain trims are actually more affordable than the 2024 model year pickup. Pricing starts at $38,710 for the base F-150 XL, not accounting for destination freight charges (DFC).

Job 1 production of the 2025 Ford F-150 is already underway at both the Dearborn Truck plant in Michigan and the Kansas City Assembly plant in Missouri, as reported by Ford Authority.
