2025 Ford Mustang Mach-E Lineup Cheaper Than 2024 Model

The 2025 Ford Mustang Mach-E doesn’t represent an official refresh for the EV crossover, but it does contain a considerable number of updates for the typical model year transition. We already know about many of those updates, as The Blue Oval revealed them some time ago, and as Ford Authority reported earlier today, the 2025 Ford Mustang Mach-E build and price configurator just launched as well. As it turns out, the 2025 Ford Mustang Mach-E lineup is also cheaper than the outgoing 2024 model, too.

The 2025 Ford Mustang Mach-E is cheaper across the board when compared to the outgoing 2024 model, with price cuts ranging from $2,500 for the GT up to $4,000 for the Select AWD Standard Range and Premium Standard Range models, while the least expensive Mach-E – the Select RWD Standard Range – now starts out at $36,495, which is $3,500 cheaper than before. The 2025 Ford Mustang Mach-E is one of several Blue Oval models to receive a price cut for the new model year, a list that also includes select trims of the 2025 Ford F-150, as well as the 2025 Ford Escape lineup, while the 2025 Ford Bronco held its ground in that regard.

These 2025 Ford Mustang Mach-E price cuts are even more notable given the fact that it now comes with a new, standard heat pump, which is intended to help cut back on range loss when driving in cold weather – though it also forced Ford to reduce the size of the Mach-E’s frunk by 40 percent. Aside from the new heat pump and a smaller frunk, the 2025 Ford Mustang Mach-E is getting a host of other updates, which include losing its windshield wiper de-icer and MyKey feature, while the Premium trim is gaining the new Sport Appearance Package, along with three new color options for the lineup, in general. All 2025 Ford Mustang Mach-E crossovers are ditching the old center-mounted dial shifter as well, replacing it with a column shifter that frees up some console space.

As Ford Authority previously reported, the 2025 Ford Mustang Mach-E will be the first to get the new BlueCruise 1.5 update, which is adding an Automatic Lane Change feature, though it hasn’t yet revealed a timeline for that rollout. Production of the 2025 Ford Mustang Mach-E at the Cuautitlan Assembly plant in Mexico began on January 6th, 2025, as Ford Authority previously reported.

Brett's lost track of all the Fords he's owned over the years and how much he's spent modifying them, but his current money pits include an S550 Mustang and 13th gen F-150.

  2. I had a 2021 Mach E Premium. After 13 months nothing but problems. Fortunately I was able to sell it back to the dealer, who couldn’t get what he paid me. All of the superficial upgrades have not changed the vehicle that much. My second vehicle now is a 2024 Genesios GV60 performance, all electric and it blows away the Mach E. Features like HUD and phenomenal navigation, over the air updates, and luxury interior, and a great lease deal for 33 months making me very pleased that the mustang did not work out.
