Detroit Lions Special Edition Ford F-150 Quick Walkaround: Video

The Detroit Lions are Ford’s home team in more ways than one. The Ford family owns the NFL team, which hails from the same part of Michigan as The Blue Oval’s headquarters. To celebrate the team, the automaker designed a tribute Ford F-150 with Detroit Lions branding gracing its flanks, and now we’re getting a good look at the special pickup in a new walkaround video.

Based on the SLT trim, this Detroit Lions Special Edition 2024 Ford F-150 is on display at the Detroit Auto Show. It features a sleek Iconic Silver paint scheme that compliments its blue exterior graphics. Up front, that means Honolulu Blue grille accents with matching pops of color gracing the mirrors and tow hooks.

Checking out the Ford F-150 in profile reveals the rearing Detroit Lions logo on the rear doors, claws outstretched toward the front of the vehicle. A set of blue stripe graphics lead the viewer’s eye along the bed, culminating in “Detroit Lions” script positioned over the taillights on the bedside.

Out back, the Ford F-150 features blue “F-150” script, pulling the theme through to all four sides of the pickup, and it doesn’t stop there. The F-150 gets Lions logos stitched into the headrests, while a custom placard shows the vehicle’s build number accompanied by the words “Limited Edition” and another Detroit Lions motif.

Other standard features include the Black Appearance Package, which fits the Ford F-150 with a series of blacked-out exterior and interior accents. Power is sourced from the twin turbocharged 3.5L V6 PowerBoost Hybrid engine.

Just 800 examples of the Detroit Lions Special Edition Ford F-150 will be built. The package is priced at $995, but certain Ford dealers in southern Michigan are offering a special deal. Buyers are incentivized to trade in their vehicle for the special edition F-150 before the end of the year, and by doing so, they’ll benefit from $750 off, which drops the cost of the package to just $245. It’s also worth noting that the package is offered in conjunction with a variety of exterior colors.
