The Ford Authority Take

After two consecutive months of declines, Ford Argentina’s sales increased healthily in December. The Blue Oval brand managed to stop the sales slide with a solid double-digit increase in the last month of calendar year 2024, but that was unfortunately not enough to prevent Ford from posting an overall drop in demand when compared to 2023.

Ford Argentina’s strong December performance was led by the best-selling Ford Ranger, which added almost 250 units year-over-year and cemented its position as the brand’s most popular model in the South American country. In addition, the domestically manufactured midsize pickup strengthened its competitiveness as the second best-selling model in its segment on the market.

Additionally, last month the triple-digit increase of the Ford F-150 in the Argentine market was notable thanks to the arrival of the refreshed model. Also notable is the strong year-on-year increase of the Ford Territory, which remains the second best-selling model of the brand in Argentina and ends the year with all positive figures.
