The Ford Authority Take
Ford Brazil sales increased substantially in December, which expanded the brand’s positive streak in the South American country. It is experiencing consistent growth, and ends 2024 with its best result in recent years. In fact, last month’s increase represents Ford’s ninth consecutive monthly increase in the Brazilian market and the second highest result of 2024 after the 5,801 units moved in October.
As in previous months, Ford Brazil’s substantial increase in December was led by another outstanding performance by the best-selling Ford Ranger. The midsize pickup cements its position as the brand’s most popular model in the country and ends the year firmly in second place in sales in its segment, surpassing the Chevy S10 both for the month and in the cumulative total.
Additionally, the rest of the Ford lineup also managed to increase their sales in December thanks to the higher demand. Among them, the impressive three-digit growth of the Ford Territory stands out both in the month and in the accumulated total for the year, which establishes it as the brand’s second best-selling model. Also noteworthy is the notable increase of the Ford F-150, thanks to the arrival of the refreshed model.
