The Ford F-150 has formed one-half of America’s best-selling vehicle and truck duo for decades to this point, proving to be an incredibly popular entity among new vehicle shoppers in general. As such, it’s not terribly surprising that the Ford F-150 also routinely tops lists of everything from the percentage of vehicles that are still in operation on U.S. roads, not to mention the fact that it’s also typically one of the best-selling used vehicles in the same country as well. In the realm of Carvana, specifically, that was also the case across last year, too.
Carvana recently released its list of the used vehicle retailer’s top-selling models of 2024, and the Ford F-150 landed in tenth place this time around – in SuperCrew configuration, specifically. That places it behind the Tesla Model 3, Chevrolet Equinox, Nissan Rogue, the Ford Escape, the Ford Explorer, Toyota Camry, Honda Civic, Nissan Altima, and Jeep Grand Cherokee, rounding out the top 10 this time around. Interestingly, the Model 3 wasn’t even in Carvana’s top 20 last year, but with prices plummeting and inventory rising, it made quite the jump year-over-year.
“In 2024, Carvana surpassed two million cars sold lifetime-to-date, and the models leading our sales this year illustrate the broad range of tastes and preferences among online car buyers,” said Kevin Fitzgerald, Senior Director, Purchasing at Carvana. “Carvana is committed to offering an unparalleled selection of vehicles to fit every need and lifestyle.”
The Ford F-150 has made the cut on several other lists of the best-selling and most popular used vehicles on the market in recent years, too. That includes an appearance on Consumer Reports‘ top 10 list of the most popular used vehicles last fall, which are based on which used model pages on its own site drive the most traffic, meaning that they’re the most searched-for used vehicles overall – many of which have also been bestowed with recommended status from the consumer organization as well.
