By now, we’re used to seeing the Ford F-150 Raptor (and its Raptor counterparts) fly across sandy desert-like terrain and jump massive dunes, landing on all four tires and suffering no damage, at least, most of the time. That’s because the Raptor family is built to do precisely that, with fancy suspension systems and other bespoke goodies. On the flip side, many other vehicles – including the Ford Super Duty – aren’t designed to jump over big sand dunes and land gracefully, as in its case, the big truck exists to haul and tow heavy loads. However, this Ford F-250 Super Duty is certainly more than capable of flying through the air and living to tell the tale.

As we can see in this footage from a pro off-road driver named Westin – who was driving the truck at the time – this Ford F-250 was clearly built to fly by the folks at Super Comp Power Sports. It’s truly surreal to watch this big, Crew Cab pickup do things like this, especially when it’s a workhorse packing the turbocharged 6.7L V8 Power Stroke diesel underhood. However, as noted in the video, the F-250 was able to slide around corners at 40 mph and hit jumps at 45 mph, which is truly impressive.

Aside from watching countless videos of Ford F-150 Raptor pickups ripping off huge jumps over its many years of existence, we’ve also come across some non-traditional types of Blue Oval vehicles catching some air too – including a Ford Expedition, interestingly enough. It does seem somewhat strange that Ford doesn’t build and sell any sort of Raptor version of the Super Duty at the moment, regardless, though such a thing hasn’t been entirely ruled out, as Ford Authority reported a little over two years ago. Despite that, we’re still waiting for such a model to come to light.
