Ford Launches ‘From The Road’ Human Interest Blog

Ford has a long, rich history that dates back well over a century to this point, and it’s certainly one worth celebrating from time to time. The Blue Oval is typically keen to do precisely that every time a milestone comes around, which is always interesting in that there are plenty of stories worth telling within that history. Now, to help better share interesting stories and moments involving Ford products, people, and culture, the automaker has launched what it calls “From the Road.”

From the Road is a new human-interest blog that takes inspiration from Ford Times magazine, which just resurfaced on the Ford Heritage Vault site in April 2024. Ford Times magazine was created way back in 1908 as a way for the company to keep employees up to date on what was going on within its walls, no matter where they lived. However, within a couple of years, it quickly evolved into a consumer-facing publication that focused on travel and lifestyle, enjoying a long run that didn’t end until 1993.

Now, From the Road aims to continue that tradition by telling a myriad number of stories from within The Blue Oval, including how its skunkworks team is developing a low-cost EV platform to compete with Tesla, Ford’s renewed efforts at Le Mans, and even a group of siblings that found and restored their father’s Mustang that he once sold to pay for their mother’s cancer treatments. From the Road tells these stories in a number of ways, including via photos, reels, and various other formats.

Those interested in checking out From the Road can already do so here, as the site has officially launched. It’s just the latest digital revamp from The Blue Oval, which most recently launched a brand new Ford Performance site that features loads of content aimed at keeping motorsports fans informed of upcoming events, as well as outlining enthusiast-focused gatherings, too.
