Ford Performance 2025 Season Launch Event Takes Place This Month

The Ford Mustang Dark Horse marked the dawn of a new era for Ford Performance, reigniting the automaker’s motorsports efforts with the all-new seventh-generation pony racer. It took a minute for The Blue Oval to hit its stride with the new race car when it debuted for the 2024 season, but once it did, it was practically unstoppable, claiming over 50 wins across every manner of racing by year’s end. Now, with the next racing season right around the corner, Ford Performance is gearing up for another successful campaign with the 2025 Season Launch in just a few weeks’ time.

Ford Performance won the 2024 Cup Series championship with Joey Logano.

“We’re shifting into high gear for our 2025 Season Launch!” Ford Performance announced on its social media. “Last year’s was awesome, but this year’s event promises to be even bigger and better. Come be amongst driver royalty to grab autographs, catch a free concert, grab some swag, and be part of Ford Performance kicking off the season.”

Competitors in the motorsports industry have certainly taken notice of Ford Performance’s success. The Mustang GT3 is a hot item heading into the 2025 sportscar and road racing season for customer teams. Currently, Proton Competition fields the Mustang GT3 in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, FIA World Endurance Championship, and Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe, while Multimatic campaigns two GT3s in the GTD Pro class of the WeatherTech Championship.

And speaking of endurance racing, Ford Performance announced its driver lineup for the 2025 IMSA campaign, tapping a host of talent to represent The Blue Oval on the international racing stage. For the Australian Supercars series, the Ford Mustang GT will once again carry Ford’s banner, and though they didn’t win the overall championship, the automaker’s teams put a dent in the overall points when it mattered most.

As for the domestic scene, though, Ford is poised for another dominant run in the NHRA and NASCAR divisions, fresh off Joey Logano’s third Cup Series championship and Ty Majeski’s championship-caliber performance in the Truck Series. There are some changes on the way – including the formation of the new Haas Factory Team out of the ashes of Stewart-Haas Racing – but look for Ford to build on its dominant performance in 2024.

The 2025 Season Launch is scheduled for January 30th, 2025. RSVPs can be made at the Ford Performance Season Launch website.
