Ford Stock Stable During Week Of January 20th – January 24th, 2025

The value of Ford stock marginally decreased during the January 20th, 2024 – January 24th, 2025 timeframe. Shares closed the week at $10.12, which represented a less than one percent dip, or $0.06 decrease in value compared to the prior week’s closing value of $10.18. The stock market was closed on Monday due to the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday.

Wall Street continues to grapple with how it should evaluate legacy automakers in the wake of the ongoing EV transition. That said, Ford has frequently shifted its EV product plans and goals, likely adding to skepticism from investors. It has now settled on an “everything for everyone” approach to its lineup that gives buyers a choice between gas, hybrid, and all-electric vehicles.
