The value of Ford stock dropped during the January 6^th, 2024 – January 10^th, 2025 timeframe. Shares closed the week at $9.65, which represented a two percent dip, or $0.23 decrease in value compared to the prior week’s closing value of $09.88. The stock exchange was closed Thursday due to the national day of mourning for American President Jimmy Carter.

Wall Street continues to grapple with how it should evaluate legacy automakers in the wake of the ongoing EV transition. It has now settled on an “everything for everyone” approach to its lineup that gives buyers a choice between gas, hybrid, and all-electric vehicles.
