Ford Super Duty Takes Off With Tractor Driver On Trailer: Video

It’s not exactly a secret that the Ford Super Duty line of trucks exists for one reason, in particular – to tow and haul heavy loads, whether that be bales of hay, campers, or various types of heavy equipment. The Super Duty has become a tremendously popular and profitable entity for those very reasons, and continues to serve a very important role in The Blue Oval’s lineup since it debuted over two decades ago. However, we’ve also seen our fair share of Ford Super Duty involved mishaps over the years, typically caused by driver error – and now, we’re being treated to another one.

A Ford Super Duty takes off while the driver is trying to put a tractor on its trailer.

This Ford Super Duty owner was doing what a lot of folks tend to do with these trucks – loading a tractor on a trailer attached to his pickup – when things, well, they went horribly wrong. Before he could get the tractor up on the trailer completely, the Super Duty started to roll forward, a problem that only escalated as he moved up that ramp. The man then proceeds to sit on the tractor for a few seconds, seemingly in shock, before he realizes what’s happening and hops off of this wild ride.

Hitting the ground and rolling a few times – rather humorously – the man then runs to catch up with his runaway pickup, likely thinking that he could jump in the cab and stop it from careening into a wooded area nearby. Unlike the cool stuff that happens in action movies, he proceeds to run headfirst into a low-hanging tree branch instead, giving himself what we can imagine is a big old headache – all while his truck and trailer crash to a halt.

For a moment he stepped on the tractor brakes but 😂❌️

Of course, this isn’t the first time we’ve seen some crazy things happen when a Ford Super Duty is towing something hefty, as one owner recently proceeded through a drive-thru while towing a camper, even as it sheared apart before our very eyes. This type of incident isn’t just reserved for Ford truck drivers, either – rather, we’ve seen our fair share of Chevy and Ram-involved towing mishaps, too.

Brett's lost track of all the Fords he's owned over the years and how much he's spent modifying them, but his current money pits include an S550 Mustang and 13th gen F-150.

  1. It would be nice to actually have a link to the video since the title suggests one.
