After its 2023 model year refresh, the 2025 Ford Super Duty line receives minor changes to its exterior color lineup. Two new colors are on offer for the latest model year, bringing the total to 10 colors on the order books, and Ford Authority simplifies the rainbow by outlining each color’s pricing and availability by trim level.
Ruby Red Metallic Tinted Clearcoat
Antimatter Blue Metallic
Agate Black Metallic
Avalanche
Carbonized Gray Metallic
Oxford White
Race Red
Glacier Gray Metallic Tri-Coat
Star White Metallic Tri-Coat
Darkened Bronze Metallic
Of the 10 colors, six are offered on all 2025 Ford Super Duty trims, including XL, XLT, Lariat, King Ranch, Platinum, and Platinum Plus. These include Agate Black Metallic (paint code UM), Antimatter Blue Metallic (HX), Carbonized Gray Metallic (M7), Avalanche (DR), Oxford White (Z1), and Race Red (PQ). Note that Antimatter Blue requires that the STX Appearance Package (option code 17S), a $5,115 option on the base XL trim, first be equipped.
Meanwhile, Ruby Red Metallic Tinted Clearcoat (RR), another new color for the 2025 Ford Super Duty, is a $495 extra on the XLT, King Ranch, Platinum, and Platinum Plus trims. Darkened Bronze Metallic (LJ) is offered on the same trims, and is also a $495 color. However, Darkened Bronze requires the Chrome Package (option code 17C), which costs $1,240.
Finally, the two priciest colors on the 2025 Super Duty options list each cost $995, and are limited to Lariat and King Ranch trims. These are Glacier Gray Metallic Tri-Coat (R7) and Star White Metallic Tri-Coat (AZ).
Aside from its exterior color lineup, the 2025 Ford Super Duty now features standard V8 gasoline engines along with minor changes to its trim level lineup, dropping the Limited trim in favor of Platinum Plus as Ford Authority previously covered. A handful of SuperCab options were stricken from the list as well, including the SuperCab 148-inch wheelbase pickups, SuperCab Lariat models, and SuperCab F-350 and F-450 dual rear wheel pickups. Additionally, certain chrome elements were removed from the Super Duty, while the Platinum trim specifically received a sort of a modest refresh to give it a more premium appearance.
Production of the 2025 Ford Super Duty at the Kentucky Truck plant began on December 2nd, 2024, followed by the Ohio Assembly plant on January 21st, 2025.
