Pricing for the 2025 Ford F-150 pickup can vary greatly. On the more affordable side of the spectrum, the base F-150 XL trim starts out with a $38,000 price tag (not accounting for destination freight charges, or DFC), while on the other end of the spectrum, the most expensive Raptor R costs close to $120,000. There are plenty of options in between for buyers who may need a more capable pickup than the base XL, but may not need an all-out off-road racer like the Raptor. Enter the F-150 Platinum, which is the best-equipped (and most expensive) 2025 F-150 that’s not a Raptor.
The 2025 Ford F-150 Platinum trim starts at $74,085 without DFC or acquisition fees tacked on. As with most of The Blue Oval’s models, there are a few no-cost paint colors offered up, while the priciest one is Star White Metallic Tri-Coat, priced at $995. The 2025 F-150 Platinum features the twin-turbocharged 3.5L EcoBoost V6 as standard, but it does have a hybrid powertrain available – for an extra cost, of course. Packing the 3.5L PowerBoost V6 under the hood ups the price by $1,900.
Finally, in order to drive the price point over that $90,000 mark, one must opt for the Platinum Plus equipment group. This package, which costs $14,345, is exclusive to the Platinum trim, fitting it with the 22-inch Premium Painted wheels with Chrome inserts, the Platinum Plus interior and exterior themes, a leather-wrapped instrument panel, and more. It also entitles the buyer to the Platinum Plus Experience, which offers a two-year maintenance plan, Elite Welcome Call, 90-day accessories discount, and texting with a Ford Truck Expert.
All told, with those options selected, the 2025 Ford F-150 Platinum goes for $90,935, also accounting for DFC and acquisition fees. While that does make it more affordable than the Raptor R, it’s still a pretty penny for the capable pickup.
Job 1 production of the 2025 Ford F-150 is already underway at both he Dearborn Truck plant in Michigan and the Kansas City Assembly plant in Missouri.
