With just over a month until the 2025 racing season kicks off, Front Row Motorsports (FRM) is getting its ducks in a row as far as the Cup Series goes. Though it’s still in the midst of an ongoing legal battle with NASCAR itself, FRM has officially filled out its Cup Series roster, tapping Noah Gragson to drive its third Ford Mustang Dark Horse in the division.
Gragson formerly raced for the Ford-backed Stewart-Haas Racing (SHR), but was left without a ride in 2025 when SHR shuttered at the end of the 2024 racing season. However, he’s staying in The Blue Oval’s camp, and will drive the No. 4 Mustang this season – a number that was formerly seen on the side of SHR machinery.
Gragson has 75 career starts in the Cup Series, with eight career top 10 finishes and two top-fives. He hit his stride last season with SHR after a rocky start in the 2023 racing season, and is looking to continue his successful relationship with Ford in 2025.
Drew Blickensderfer will serve as Gragson’s crew chief, returning to FRM and continuing his relationship with Gragson. During their time at SHR, Gragson and Blickensderfer earned 16 top 15 finishes, seven top 10s, and one top five.
“I’m excited to be back with Front Row Motorsports,” Blickensderfer said in a press release. “I had a great experience working for Bob (Jenkins) and Jerry (Freeze) before, and now returning alongside Noah makes this opportunity even more special.”

Gragson added, “I’m grateful to have my crew chief, Drew, along with four members from last year’s team, join Front Row Motorsports. This gives us a strong foundation to hit the ground running in the 2025 season.”
As a reminder, FRM joined Toyota team 23XI Racing to sue NASCAR over what they felt was an unfair charter system. Initially, the team was not allowed to proceed with charters, but the court ruled in favor of FRM and 23XI, granting them charters for the 2025 season. That’s a decision, unsurprisingly, that NASCAR is trying to fight, but the court’s decision allowed FRM to secure a third charter to field Mustangs for Gragson, Todd Gilliland, and Zane Smith.
